Every morning of the new day, a huge Philistine giant named Goliath challenged the Israelites to fight him. Goliath was a descendant of the giants Rephaim. David was a simple shepherd boy, he knew that God was taking care of him, so he decided to accept the challenge from the mighty Goliath. He took with him five smooth stones and a sling and went to meet Goliath. In battle, David quickly ran up to Goliath, with a sharp movement he threw a stone with a sling and hit him right in the forehead, thereby killing him and winning a great victory.
